The story of Cộng Caphe began in 2007, when our founder, Linh Dung, was inspired to bring back the rustic and romantics pirit of vintage Vietnam in the form of an iconic café. Drawing from her fond childhood memories and deep connection with her Vietnamese heritage, the former performing artist spared no expense in recreating a truly authentic atmosphere and developing the brand’s signature recipes and techniques. Their menu includes signature coffee drinks that are all made from coffee beans that are ground and Phin filtered daily, as well as tantalising food such as cakes, bánhmì with chicken and tofu, and rice noodles.

On top of being a successful entrepreneur, LinhDung is also an ardent philanthropist who cares for her fellow countrymen. That is why our high quality Robusta and Arabica coffee beans are sourced from Vietnam from over 50 farmers around Da Lat, Cau Dat, Lac Duong and the K’ho community in a cooperative effort that ensures fair trade aimed at improving the lives of farmers while ensuring the quality and affordability of our products.

The name “Cộng” was derived from the first word of Vietnam’s official name, Cộng hòa Xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam. And despite having opened well over 80 outlets in Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia and Canada, the brand has always placed an uncompromising attention to detail in everything that we do -staying true to our founder’s endearing vision of classic Vietnam.
